Summary of error codes displayed on Ascaso home machines and what to do when you see them
E01 Dose control fault
a) if E01 occurs only when portafilter is in the group head with coffee, examine input factors: tamp too firm? input dose too large? grind too fine?
b) if E01 occurs when portafilter is removed:
b1) BACKFLUSH) intensively, no cleaning powder
b2) (DESCALE) and ensure more than sufficient purging after descaling is performed. Flowmeter is STICKY and it can take time for it to realize it doesn't need to keep tripping
c) replace flowmeter (i2560)
E02 Coffee temp probe fault
a) i4299 probe check wiring
b) contact service provider
E03 coffee exchanger fault
a) check thermoblock wiring
b) contact service provider
E04 Steam temp probe fault
a) i4299 probe check wiring
b) contact service provider
E05 Steam exchanger fault
a) check thermoblock wiring
b) reset steam thermoblock thermostat
