# How to replace front light (i4027) on Ascaso home machines
## Process to replace front LED light (i4027) found on all Ascaso home espresso machines.
**\*\* Reference photos pending \*\***
**Step 1):** Remove top panel
**Step 2):** Trace the problem lights wiring back to the terminal strip. (On select Steel models this may require remove CPU cover to allow access to white wiring terminal strip.)
**Step 3):** Use a very small flathead screwdriver to remove this wiring from the terminal strip.
**Step 4):** Push old light out through the front of the machine, feeding light wiring through.
**Step 5):** Thread the new light's wiring in through the front of the machine, then attach to the wiring terminal.
