Ascaso Baby T Plus | Error Codes

List of error codes that may appear on the Ascaso Baby T Plus display and what to do when you see them.

AL1 Refill water tank level 
a) Check settings: if machine is direct plumbed, switch to MAINS (parameter EP in main menu) 
b) Check draw tubes, make sure they are inserted into reservoir 
c) Check filters on the end of draw tubes 
d) Ensure sensor is the appropriate distance from the reservoir 
e) Contact service provider or AscasoUSA if above steps do not remedy error code


AL2 Group flow meter fault 
a) Backflush 
b) Descale 
c) Contact service provider, or; 
c1) Disassemble flow meter and inspect for scale or particulate blocking the inlet/outlet 
c2) Check 3-Way solenoid brew valve for function/debris/scale and verify coil resistance 
d) Contact service provider or AscasoUSA if above steps do not remedy error code


AL3 Probe temperature group fault 
a) Check for (2) tripped high-limit switches on top of thermoblock (see 'Common Issues' sheet for reference picture) 
b) Contact service provider or AscasoUSA if above steps do not remedy error code


AL4 Group element fault 
a) Contact service provider or AscasoUSA if you see this error code

 
AL5 Circuit fault 
a) Contact service provider or AscasoUSA if you see this error code


AL6 Maximum filling boiler time 
a) (If direct-plumbed) Verify that water is turned on and flowing from the water supply valve to the machine through the supply hose, checking to make sure the water filter is not clogged or turned off 
b) Check fill solenoid valve (disassemble to troubleshoot for a physical clog, test coil resistance 
c) Contact service provider or AscasoUSA if above steps do not remedy error code


AL7 Boiler temperature gauge fault 
a) Contact service provider or AscasoUSA if you see this error code


AL8 Boiler element fault 
a) Contact service provider or AscasoUSA if you see this error code


L button flashing / displays blank Temp probe issue 
a) Contact service provider or AscasoUSA if you see this error code
** Temp probe may have a loose connection and should be addressed by a technician **
